What is Forest Founders Rewards?

Forest Founders Rewards is a new environmental loyalty program designed to help you go green when and where you shop.

Every time you make a qualified purchase at a participating business, we help that business plant a real tree on your behalf - offsetting your carbon footprint through the power of commerce (qualified purchases may vary by participating business).

How does it benefit my business?

Cause-oriented customers are on the hunt for environmentally responsible places to shop now so, more than ever. Forest Founders Rewards makes your business a unique destination for this growing market. Increase your reach, lower customer acquisition costs, and increase loyalty with tree-planting offers commissioned through our network.

What will it cost my business?

Our base service starts at $100 per month. This package comes with 100 trees to plant over the month and access to basic AR (augmented reality) assets. Additional trees are charged at $50 per 100. Additional AR functionality can be arranged on a per-use basis.

What are the basic AR assets we could use?

We can create an AR virtual menu asset or host a digital message board. We can also provide info on advanced AR assets that are interactive. All interactive AR posts are paid for on a per-use basis. We sell packages of digital interactions priced based on volume.

How does it benefit my customers?

Each tree that you plant on a customer’s behalf helps to offset the carbon footprint of their purchase, and we keep count (8 trees per month makes the average person completely carbon neutral!).

The AR nature of our offering also gives a high-tech and gamified feel to your customers, giving them the instant gratification they now associate with your business. They get to shop guilt-free while being rewarded and feeling like part of a larger movement.

How do customers plant trees?

When making a qualified purchase at your store, you will provide a QR code to the customer allowing them access to your AR space containing a virtual scratch card. While your supply lasts, every scratch card will reward your customer with a tree that will add to their total tree count and offset their purchase’s carbon footprint, within reason. 

Where are trees planted?

Tree survival and maximizing your planting impact is our top priority. We only utilize top-rated established tree-planting nonprofits. The trees are planted throughout the world to ensure natural disasters and changing landscapes won’t wipe out our entire effort.

Where can Forest Founders Rewards members find my business?

Members may check our list of participating businesses online, look for the Forest Founders Rewards window sticker in their neighborhood, or follow us on social as we announce new Forest Founders Rewards locations. We will also be sending out email blasts that will feature new businesses in our member’s area.

Do customers have to pay for Forest Founders Rewards?

There is no cost for members to register with Forest Founders Rewards or to plant trees. Trees are planted in exchange for the purchases you deem qualified in your store.
